I'm Joey, founder of Refurb Rescue, based in West Yorkshire.
I moved here from Manchester in 2012, fell in love with the warm, friendly culture, and never looked back. West Yorkshire is my home and the community I built this business to serve.
I've been involved in managing property refurbishment projects for over ten years. In that time, I've seen first-hand everything that can go wrong: trades going quiet for weeks, no communication between teams, vague quotes, and costly delays that nobody takes responsibility for.
That experience is exactly why I built Refurb Rescue. Over six years, I hand-picked every trade, going through what felt like hundreds of contractors to find those who combine genuine skill with reliability, respect for the customer, and pride in their work.
We offer all trades to our customers under one roof. kitchens, all aspects of joinery and general building, electricians, bathrooms, boiler work, plasterers, decorators and more. All managed through one clear point of contact.
